Stony Plain Dental Care Community of Kindness Scholoarships

Stony Plain Dental Centre supports the various programs of choice offered by Connections For Learning as they align with the vision and value of their Community of Kindness Program. Through this program, CFL can offer up to 12 scholarships ranging in value from $500 to $2,000.

Eligibility

This scholarship aims to provide students in need with financial assistance so that they are able to participate in either the My PATH Program or the Parkland Student Athlete Academy.

To be considered for one of these scholarships, the student must demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership qualities
  • A commitment to learning
  • Involvement in their community
  • A passion for sports, arts, and wellness
  • A positive attitude
  • Program values and core philosophy

Students and their families can apply directly for funding, or be nominated by someone else.

Application Process

Interested and eligible candidates must complete the scholarship application form. Please use this same form if you are choosing to nominate a deserving family.

Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis and eligible recipients will be contacted within 2-3 weeks of application submission.

KidSport Parkland Grants

KidSport Parkland provides grants to kids from families facing financial barriers so they can participate in registered sports programs and experience the lifelong benefits of a season of sport. KidSport Parkland provides grants of up to $300 per eligible child, per calendar year toward sport registration fees.

Jumpstart Grants

Jumpstart is committed to helping families access a range of activities, from boxing to bowling and skating to skiing, and more.

Eligibility

Jumpstart funding is allocated to sustained programs that involve a sport or physical activity. Children must fall between the ages of four and 18 years old.

Students and their families can apply directly to Jumpstart for funding.
