Purpose

The PSAA App was created to facilitate a variety of program initiatives including:

- Student-athlete monitoring: PSAA students check in on the app every morning to give their teachers and coaches an idea about their readiness to engage in learning and training.

- Anthropometric measurements: using formulas generated from University of Saskatchewan, our app uses anthropometric measurements from our students to discern their physiological age. This helps to make more informed and individualized training decisions.

Pro-Day tracking: three times a year we take our entire student body to conduct general athletic testing and movement screening. The results are uploaded into our app for students to track their development over time.

Sport Based Reporting: our coaches use the app to report on how student-athletes are doing during their training afternoons. This will grow to include sport specific skill metrics in the future.
