Elite Athlete Training Systems:

The success of the EATS Method is dependent on an athlete’s willingness to commit to hard work. For an individual athlete to be successful in their academic lives, their family lives and in their pursuit of sporting excellence, they must surround themselves with the best people. At EATS we truly believe in the strength and the power of community. We believe that the first step to becoming an elite performer is to surround yourself with others committed to the pursuit of excellence. We believe that effort and hard work are at the root of all success. At EATS your individual commitment to hard work will be supported by a strong community that is committed to results derived from pure effort.

We believe that the pursuit of elite athletic performance is a journey. We do not believe that it is an easy journey. It will take hard work, effort and tremendous commitment. You will have to make sacrifices, you will have to be disciplined; you will have to change. We believe that true athletic performance is not specialized; it is instead a measure of an athlete's ability to excel at an infinite variety of pursuits, including but not limited to lifting, pushing, pulling heavy objects, running long distance and sprinting short distances. Because we believe that true sport performance is constantly varying, we believe it is essential that each athlete must first develop sound movement patterns and technique. This emphasis on technique will allow each athlete to maximize the results of their efforts regardless of the task.

Additionally, we believe that competition within a peer group is essential in order to maximize individual effort. The integration of competition is rooted in our belief in the power of community. Competition motivates individuals, creates goals and holds us accountable for our efforts. We are not your standard training facility. There is nothing fancy about our space or our equipment. We are 100% athlete-centered. We believe that success is dependent on an individual athlete’s willingness to commit to hard work and the community that fuels their passion.

Owner & Head Strength Coach - Brad Dayman

Brad’s passion for strength training led to him founding Elite Athlete Training Systems more than 10 years ago. With his broad experience working with a variety of athletes of all ages and skill levels from Junior High to Pro, Brad has an unmatched passion for training athletes.

Brad believes the role of strength and conditioning programs is to develop all-around athletes. He thinks of athlete development as building a pyramid: a pyramid's height is directly proportional to the size of its base, and his job as a strength coach is to build that base as big as possible, so the athlete's sport coach can build that pyramid as tall as possible.

Brad played football in the Spruce Grove area for 10 years, after which he served as the strength and conditioning coach for the Parkland Panthers high school team for eight years. He is also an accomplished competitive powerlifter, winning best overall lifter at the 2014 Provincial Championships.
